Snapshots Of Gratitude

The last week of November was a busy one! We had family portraits taken at Red Rocks on Sunday. The next few days three of us fought off colds. Then there was the marketing and prepping for Turkey Day. We had a wonderful meal together, followed by board games. The highlights of my week are above- my coffee and writing ritual on a cold morning, my cat in a window, a sweet and safe treat, and fun with family.

This is my second Sunday to compile photos and words for my new gratitude practice. My belief is that by being actively grateful, I am building a reserve to use during the dark times, when the feelings are hard to conjure.

  1. “My belief is that by being actively grateful, I am building a reserve to use during the dark times, when the feelings are hard to conjure.” – This is perfect. Something that I need to do a little more sometimes.

Your Thanksgiving sounds lovely and peaceful, ours was a little more hectic but nice nonetheless. We didn’t have a chance to play board games though, I do like to do that on family holidays.
