Snapshots Of Gratitude

Well this wasn’t my best week. A bad fall down the stairs led to injuries. A shower leak led to frustration. Carpel Tunnel Syndrome is interfering with my daily writing habit. I’m really sort of fed up!

There’s always room for gratitude, though! So here we go- I’m grateful for coffee on cold mornings. I’m grateful for supportive people in my life that let me sound off. I’m grateful for snail mail, special treats (hello Cocomels!), and hugs.

I’m grateful a tow truck came to take away the neighbor’s van, which had some sort of malfunction, causing the horn to honk at all hours of the night. O_o

I’m grateful my sons flew home mid-week, causing the cat to settle down and begin sleeping again at night. Her incessant meowing proves her love for them, but come on!

It’s great to have the guys home. We had friends over on Friday, and I am always happy to bake for people, and invite them into my home. Today I met friends for coffee, and found that to be extremely fulfilling.

Gratitude is a choice. It means while stamping my (uninjured) foot, and being pissed off, I can also choose to look for the okay in the world. There is a LOT of okay in the world. And that’s why I write Snapshots Of Gratitude on Sundays! <3
