20140303_113734I return

Westbound into The Eisenhower Tunnel, then up to Frisco and Breckenridge. Eastbound through The Johnson Tunnel, and back down to Denver. A quick trip to the tippy-top Rockies was not enough to placate my Wanderlust. I feel deflated upon homecoming. But now I’ve taken the tunnels, crossed the Divide, and seen what exists up there. It is all within reach, just an hour from here, and I know I’ll go back soon.

  1. How lovely. And although it was a short vacay, how fortunate you are to be able to take short jaunts to paradise.

I agree. We are glad to be this close. Not a lot of fun to be up there when you can’t ski or tube or even snowshoe, but we’re all excited to go back up when it’s warmer, more dry, and hike-able!
