I Choose to Practice Gratitude
Stressed out, burnt out, left out, washed out- blah! The last week has been tough. Being (temporarily) ill on top of the typical chronic crap left me limp. I am bouncing back physically, but this week brings its own set of challenges. It’s Monday morning. I’m grappling for perspective. I’m seeking goodness. So I’m practicing gratitude.
The Autumn air is cool, my family is warm, laughter is frequent, tears are shared, life is worked through with mindfulness and intention. I am never alone. I am loved well.
By noticing which things are meaningful, by naming my joys- I tap into the healing power of gratitude. My eyes are open and my mind less foggy.
To give myself a chance to feel good, I choose to practice gratitude.
