Almost half-way through my Feelings February project! I’m glad to be exploring feelings this way, with the use of GROK cards, and I thank you for your interest and support. Onward, to today’s random draw-

February Feelings - Confused - #NVC

The dictionary defines confused as unable to think clearly, or being bewildered. It leads to a crinkled forehead and elicits a sigh. I feel confused when I’m converting recipes, or when I follow them exactly and they don’t turn out. I feel confused when I’m learning something complex or new. I feel confused when I don’t get the anticipated response after sharing something with someone. Confusion can lead to other feelings, like frustration, shame, and sadness.

While feeling confused often shows we have a need for clarity, communication, and support, it’s important to let ourselves feel before we bound into fix-it mode. Here’s a little mantra for the next time a cake collapses, or the latest science news fogs my vision, or the next time someone doesn’t reply to a request-

I notice I’m feeling confused, and that’s ok.
