Mourning Doves by Steve Keenan Photography

Do you have difficulty feeling calm? Me too! In Overstimulated? Aim for Distraction not Relaxation, author Julie tells us why it’s hard to relax, and how we can help ourselves with single-pointed focus activities like number and word puzzles. Interesting stuff!

Recently my life’s been turned upside down by hormonal imbalances. In 35 Symptoms of Perimenopause, Magnolia Miller compiles a list way beyond hot flashes and night sweats. Reading this post helped me feel valid. We may have to go through hell, but we don’t have to go alone!

In the video, My Pill Journey, shared on Story Of My Life, a woman chronicles her mental health treatment. I related to her story. Many of us are working hard to stay healthy and here. When we share our stories, we are offering common humanity. Again, we may have to go through hell, but we don’t have to go alone.

Take care of you, and if you have a bit to spare, care for those around you. <3
