What I Read Last Week
I hope your Spring is shaping up nicely. It’s been hard to write on the blog lately, as I struggle with my health. One of the saddest things about mental illness can be the loss of desire, the way the creative call becomes muffled, passions smothered by depressive fog. Sometimes there’s nothing to do but endure. Onward.
Here are some pieces that impressed me last week:
How To Capture Tiny Bursts Of Stress Relief by Always Well Within – Sandra has some easily-applicable ideas for lowering our day-to-day stress levels.
Basic Self-Massage Tips for Myofascial Trigger Points on PainScience.com – Paul explains those tight knots that plague many of us, then tells us how to work on them.
45 Truths People With Bipolar Disorder Wish Others Understood on The Mighty – A collection of statements from people diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder.
Women Are Posting Pictures to Challenge a Stereotype About PTSD on The Mighty – A campaign lets women know they aren’t alone in their PTSD journeys.
7 Ways To Support A Transgender Child, Or One Who Thinks They Might Be on Romper.com – Loved this article. It’s not just for parents, it’s for all of us.
Keep on. Take care. <3
